Beautiful and oversized, mid-20th century large Russian hand-painted folk art style teapot with orange ground featuring a 22 karat gold large deer on one face and luster bird and fruiting branches on opposite face and a larger round serving platter. Note the second handle at the spout to facilitate pouring of this heavy pot. Base is marked with the bird mark Ayaebo ac 3219, stand with inked A3 Ayaebo,55, Teapot measures pot ht. 9 1/4" high to finial x 12 1/2" spout to handle, platter measures 14 1/4" diameter. Set is in Excellent condition free of nicks or fleabites, note gilt wear on the platter, minor wear to the teapot as well as a scratch to the teapot glaze as shwon , please see all photos.
