Japanese Redware TEA FOR ONE Brown Teapot w Heart Design - Made in Japan - -Red Moriage Ware- -Rare Small Size- We are pleased to offer this darling little TEA FOR ONE teapot with lid manufactured in Japan circa 1955. It features a heart design with vertical lines in the center. The heart is surrounded by coralene orange, pink and turquoise flowers on a brown lustre redware/terracotta background. This little one cup teapot is decorated with gold painted trim. It would make a perfect Valentine's Day gift for that special teapot collector in your life. It stands 4-1/2" tall and measures 5-1/2" wide from handle to spout. It is marked with an embossed "JAPAN" in the bottom. It has a few little spots where the cold painted enamel is missing and a teeny nick on the foot (extremely minor); otherwise it is in excellent condition with no crazing or cracks. Just an adorable little Japanese teapot that you are sure to want to add to your collection.
