Details: This RARE Eagle Daisy Acorn Motif Measham Bargeware Brown White Glazed Ceramic HUGE Tea Pot is ready to add to your collection! This is a listing for the pictured teapot section ONLY. This is a true victorian, antique original. This is the perfect piece to set off an entire collection for either display or use. The rich chocolate brown treacle glaze has remarkable depth and perfectly complements the bursts of white accents like the eagles, daisies and other floral motifs. The fine details are also outstanding like the acorn finial lip topper. It displays scratches, scuffs and smudges from handling/daily use (see photos). The teapot is NOT chipped or cracked in any areas. The exposed areas of ceramic in the photos are from the drip method used for the glazing that left behind open and exposed areas of raw ceramic. This is how it was made, not a defect. The rim of the lid area displays several fine cracks around its circumference. The overall condition of the teapot is very good for its age.
